The Antigua Calendar 2011

As I write this, it´s a beautiful Guatemalan day. The sun is shining in a bright blue sky, the air is cool, the birds are singing and all the gorgeous flowering trees are starting to bloom. There are pink and purple flowers everywhere and all shades of bougainvillea peeping over walls. As they say nowadays - how good is that! Every now and then, if you are lucky, you get a look at a beautiful home behind the tall walls.

Antigua is such a treat. This year we decided to focus on the beautiful flowers wich surround us. I hope you enjoy the paintings chosen especially for you.

There is a brief history of La Antigua on the back cover. As usual there are interesting tidbits of information about colonial times scattered throughout the calendar grid. The scripture verses are taken from Good News version of the Bible.
